EcoHouse is a demonstration site for a variety of ways to help Hamilton residents reduce their household production.

On display in the building:

1. Recycling programs. EcoHouse is a showcase for "the perfect curb", including demonstration of precycling. 
2. Composting programs 
3. Vermicomposting programs (worm composting) 
4. Hamilton.Reuses.com- an innovative web portal maintained by Green Venture to divert perfectly usable items from landfills through a give away swap system on-line.
5. Education programs are also offered on the topic of waste reduction.
