What: Green Venture’s July open house weekend is all about energy.

• Learn about solar power and have a look at our new MicroFIT system on the EcoHouse roof and monitoring.
• We have a new watt meter for tracking phantom power, and new kid's crafts.
• Make a solar smore oven!

“My Green Adventures: All About Energy”, features games, activities, education sessions, and special guests.

 Why: “My Green Adventures” is EcoHouse’s special events education outreach programming for 2011. The July event coincides with peak summer sun.

 Who Should Attend: Families and individuals with an interest in the environment and a desire to make a positive influence on our planet an individual level. Meet our partners in the community who share a passion for our environment. children’s activities are available.

 When: “My Green Adventures: All About Energy” takes place Saturday July 9 – Sunday July10, 2011  from 10 am to 4pm, rain or shine.

 Green Venture is a non-profit environmental organization linking people and ideas together towards a more sustainable world. Green Venture operates the EcoHouse, an environmental education centre in east Hamilton. “My Green Adventures” is a recurring series of special event programming throughout 2011 at the EcoHouse.
